Presentation Écriture et bidouillage: formats, bricoles and workshops for the production of thought
The material contexts of writing are central to the production of ideas and thought. Far from being just “tools” or limited to “influencing” a disembodied thought that would only materialize in a text, formats, interfaces and writing chains are thought. That's why it's essential to tinker with environments, personalize formats and imagine ad hoc writing chains for each different situation. Marcello Vitali-Rosati will give a few examples of how to set up DIY writing environments that can be understood as thought workshops.
